Mid-Career Faculty Research Development Program
Program Description
The Mid-Career Faculty Research Development Program is designed to support the research/creative activities of tenured associate professors who want to re-energize their research/creative activities. This program provides a series of professional development opportunities aimed at addressing the various challenges mid-career faculty face in advancing their research agenda and achieving their professional goals.
The first cohort of associate professors will be selected to participate in Spring 2022. There will be three professional development sessions designed to facilitate research, writing, and publishing with a specific focus on the needs of faculty at the Associate level. Faculty who complete all of the sessions and submit a one-year action plan will receive a $500 stipend for research needs.
Applications will be evaluated by the Faculty Development Council. If there are more applicants than available spots, efforts will be made to have colleges represented proportionally and diverse research/creative interests included.
More information can be found in the Mid-Career Faculty Research Development Program Guidelines.
