How We Can Help:
Satellite 246 is a pilot program for ENGL 1301 writing support in ELABS 246 on the Edinburg campus. It’s a flexible, student-centered space where you can get the writing help you need outside of the classroom, in a Writing Center space specific to ENGL 1301. Designed for students in ENGL 1301/0301 and stand-alone ENGL 1301 courses, WC Satellite 246 provides writing support to meet you where you are.

Our Services:
- Drop-in Hours & Appointments: ENGL 1301 students can visit the Writing Center Satellite in ELABS 246 during drop-in hours or schedule a session for one-on-one support with a writing mentor. We’re here to help with brainstorming, drafting, and revising ENGL 1301 assignments.
- Class Visits: Faculty can schedule class visits for student-centered activities with writing mentors. During these visits, mentors can facilitate peer review, provide small group feedback, or lead interactive presentations aligned with your course assignments.
