Vaqueros Vote
Vaqueros Vote encourages UTRGV students, faculty, and staff to become more active in the community through voter registration and education. Vaqueros Vote aims to Register, Educate, and Get Out the Vote!
Voting allows you to have a say in the issues and policies that matter to you and are directly influenced by those who hold office. By voting, you are not just exercising your right—you are shaping the future. Your vote makes an impact on the future of Texas and the Rio Grande Valley.
The voter registration deadline is Monday, October 6. To check your voter registration status or to get the Voter Registration Application process started online, you may use TurboVote. Note that the application cannot be completed entirely online. Alternatively, you may complete the application with a Volunteer Deputy Registrar. For any questions or to schedule an appointment with a Volunteer Deputy Registrar, please email vaquerosvote@utrgv.edu.
Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before Election Day. Visit the Vote Texas website for more information.
UTRGV collaborates with local Elections Offices to host on-campus polling locations. Please continuously monitor this webpage throughout the year for the most up-to-date information on UTRGV polling locations.
