Mascot

The Vaqueros mascot should not be altered in any way. The outfit is based on vaqueros who lived in the Rio Grande Valley region. All costume pieces and symbols were designed and voted on by our students. No unit within the University can use any other character, animal, or thing as their intentional or de facto mascot.

NOTE: The Mascot can only be used with University Marketing and Communications approval.
