Day 1: Overview
The MEP Supply Chain optimization program is a strategic approach to solving the challenges of U.S. manufacturers by promoting a better flow of product from suppliers to customers resulting in reduced costs, improved quality and shortened lead times.
Day 2: Risk Management
This session helps you to identify the triggers of risk events, the importance of developing a plan to mitigate them when they do occur, and how to establish monitoring metrics and activities so you may be prepared for the inevitable. Participants will also learn how the financial impact of risk is determined and why a Risk Management Plan is an essential element to operational efficiency.
Day 3: Total Cost of Ownership
The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) allows companies to account financially, for each activity along the supply chain including costs associated with the acquisition of materials, transportation, storage, and the selling of purchased good or services. The goal is to equip companies to make strategic sourcing decisions.
