  • How do I register for APSI 2019 at UTRGV?

  • How do I know I have been registered for my course?

    Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the information provided on your registration form. If you do not receive this confirmation, you are not registered.
  • How much does the institute cost?

    □ Regular Fee: $600.00

    □ Lab Fee (All Science Courses): $100.00

  • What if I need to cancel or change courses?

    All cancellations and course changes must be done through your Cvent Account. For a full refund cancellation must be made before May 24, 2019.
  • Is it possible to substitute my spot with another person?

    A registration may be transferred to another individual from the same school or school district up to two weeks prior to the beginning of the institute. If the substitute needs a DIFFERENT class, the transfer may be made ONLY if space is available.
  • Who will be teaching my course?

    UTRGV contracts consultants who are endorsed by the CollegeBoard and who have distinguished themselves in their disciplines.
  • When will I receive my certificate of attendance?

    At the end of the day on Thursday of the institute, consultants will distribute certificates. Your certificate will indicate the number of hours of attendance.
  • What if I miss part of the institute?

    Your certificate will only reflect the hours you physically attended your institute.
  • What happens to my materials if I am registered, but do not cancel or attend the institute?

    If we do not receive a cancellation notice by our deadline, you will be charged the full amount. You may pick up your materials at 1407 W Freddy Gonzalez Dr. ECESS 1.101 Edinburg, Texas 78539 at any time between Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. up to 2 weeks after the institute closes. This does not include holidays.
  • If a course is already closed due to capacity, but someone does not show up, can I take their place?

    No. If a course meets its maximum capacity, we cannot allow any other person to register for the course. If a participant does not show up the first day, he or she may decide to show up later within the week. Their materials have been purchased and the distinct has submitted payment; therefore, we cannot allow any other person to sit in the course once a class has closed.
