Purpose
"The Heard" fosters UTRGV pride, values good sportsmanship, cultivates home court advantage, and provides a creative outlet for students all while making lifelong friends.
- Create a loyal student-fan base
- Assist in the promotion of school spirit through signature events (UTRGV Madness, Rivalry Games, Midnight Rumble, Homecoming)
- Create a positive atmosphere during a game

Membership
All students are members of "The Herd". Students receive free admission to all home athletic events. Must be a registered, official member to receive incentive items. Learn more about "The Herd" official membership.
