Alma Mater
UTRGV students participated in a lyric contest during the fall 2018 semester, the student body selected Garza's lyrics, and the song was played for the first time at the Spring 2019 commencement ceremonies for UTRGV. Today, the alma mater stands as a key piece to our student's journey at the university. One can hear it play at the end of athletic games, commencement ceremonies, and different signature events for the student body.
