Greetings!  If you are a prospective Principal Investigator and/or would like to know more about the National Institutes of Health, then this message is for you!

This February, we are excited to offer a FREE opportunity for faculty to learn about the grant writing process and improve their chances of writing a grant proposal that is successfully awarded. With support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the University of Kentucky will be visiting the UTRGV Edinburg campus in February to present its renowned, two-day NIH grant writing workshop.  The workshop is intended to facilitate the success of researchers at Minority-Serving Institutions in competing for NIH funding. Those who wish to attend must RSVP by email to sponpro@utrgv.edu no later than Wednesday, January 30, 2019.  Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  

The free, two-day workshop will be held at ECESS 1.300 from 8 AM to 5 PM on Monday and Tuesday, February 25-26, 2019. Lunch will be provided both days. (When registering, please advise of any dietary restrictions.) Additional details regarding the workshops and content will be sent soon.
