Activities for medical students:

During the first two years of Medical School, students will learn Bioethics principles. Students are exposed to different philosophical theories and learn how to approach an ethics consultation. During the last two years, medical students will be exposed to ethical dilemmas and to learn how to approach them.

Activities for the RGV community:

The Institute hosts two activities per month on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm. The first event takes place in Edinburg and it is repeated at the Harlingen or Brownsville Campus. Each month the discussion is focused on different topics.
