Application & Selection

Our 5-year ACGME accredited Urology residency program welcomes one resident per year. The program receives applications solely through the Electronic Application Service (ERAS) provided by the American Medical Colleges. Interviews are offered after a thorough review of your application and supporting documents through ERAS. No paper applications will be accepted.

Please submit your application materials in a timely manner as the number of interview positions is limited. We fill our positions via the AUA match.

Please use the following guidelines to complete your application:

  1. Completed online ERAS application.
  2. Dean's letter from your medical school.
  3. Three letters of recommendation from physicians with whom you worked during your training; a letter from the Program Director during your training is strongly encouraged.
  4. A recent photograph.
  5. A personal statement detailing your interest in Urology as your career specialty.
  6. Medical school transcript.
  7. We prefer individuals who have graduated from medical school within the past three years. For any applicant who graduated from medical school more than one year ago, we will want to know that you have been active in significant medical experiences in the intervening years and have kept current in your medical knowledge.
