Program Description
Mission Statement
The primary goal of our surgical residency is to produce outstanding general surgeons with the knowledge, experience, and technical skills to perform at the highest level as both clinicians and academics.
Our program is dedicated to training compassionate, socially conscious surgeons who serve as leaders in caring for the entire Rio Grande Valley. We expect our graduates to have the maturity, personal skills, and ethical standards to become respected and productive members of the surgical profession.
