Training Facilities

People of all ages can receive quality medical care from resident physicians who are supervised by the faculty of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The Residency Program is a pathway for a physician to become board certified. Among the specialties offered at the clinic are pediatrics, geriatrics and obstetrics.

The residency clinic and its 43-year tradition of service in the community is now affiliated with Rio Grande Regional and The UT Health Clinic offers:

  • Personalized attention
  • Physicians who are trained to treat every member of a patient's family
  • More time for patients to spend with their physicians
  • Access to inpatient care at McAllen Medical Center, Edinburg, Heath Hospital, and Children's Hospital
