Dr. Eron Manusov is a Professor of Human Genetics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. He earned his Medical Degree from The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine, completed a Family Medicine Residency at USAF David Grant Medical Center, followed by a Faculty Development Fellowship at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He served in multiple clinical, operational, and leadership roles in the USAF. Dr. Manusov served as faculty at his alma Mater and The Florida State College of Medicine, as Vice President at the Duke-Southern Regional Area Health Education Center, and as faculty at his Alma Mater. He enjoyed multiple leadership roles in the National Rural Health Association, served on numerous academic committees, and focused on collaborative interprofessional healthcare and research
In 2015, Dr. Manusov joined the School of Medicine faculty. As an inaugural faculty member, he was involved in two LCME site visits, curriculum development, created two family medicine residencies, and helped design the school's learning centers. He has garnered over 11 million dollars in grants to develop community outreach programs including the UTRGV Unimovil and the John Austin Pena Memorial Center, for treating triply diagnosed adolescents.
Dr. Manusov additionally serves as a board-certified Family Medicine physician at UT Health RGV. He delivers competent, compassionate patient care and uses the latest advancements in family medicine to improve the quality of care for both children and adults in the Rio Grande Valley.
