Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Medicine. Our department includes an outstanding team of expert health care practitioners who provide world-class expertise in OB/GYN, Gynecologic Oncology and Urogynecology and who are deeply committed to improving the health of women through our clinical, educational, and research programs.
We combine our compassion, diverse medical experience, and state-of-the-art medical facilities and resources to provide advanced medical education, residency training, and patient care, along with fostering groundbreaking scientific research in South Texas.

In affiliation with our UT Health RGV clinical program, our board certified faculty physicians provide a full spectrum of women’s health services and treatments in OB/GYN, Gynecologic Oncology (female cancer), Urogynecology, pregnancy care, Gynecology services, Family planning, menopause counseling, pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, urinary dysfunction, women’s immunizations and more.
