"Keys to Research" Tenure Track Faculty Research and Professional Development Program

This series of nine, 3-hour workshops will promote a culture of research compliance and ethical behavior at UTRGV while providing comprehensive grant writing training and regulatory guidance. The training program will be offered in both Edinburg and Brownsville. 

Software, Clinical Data, and Commercial Licensing Workshop

This interactive workshop will discuss solutions to common problems in academic/industry partnerships and provide best practices for successful partnerships and answers to some questions such as:

  • What happens when an industry partner wants access to our clinical data or materials?
  • Is there commercial value in your scientific data?
  • If you have an emergency deviation from a sponsored drug protocol, who owns the findings?

Sustainability webinar series 

Presented by the Office for Sustainability in conjunction with the Center for Teaching Excellence.
These pre-recorded webinars offer faculty the opportunity to watch as a group and pause the recording to discuss pertinent topics. Three series are offered:
  • Introductory, for those not familiar with sustainability;
  • Intermediate, for those with some understanding of sustainability who want to dive deeper;
  • Business, for faculty from the Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship.
