MyGradPath
What is MyGradPath?
MyGradPath makes it easier for graduate students to review degree requirements, explore options, and stay on track toward graduation. To ensure graduate students always remain on track, it is important to stay in contact with their Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC). For any questions or clarifications, graduate students are encouraged to reach out directly to the Graduate College or their program’s GPC for guidance and support.
Purpose and Scope
MyGradPath is an online tool designed to help graduate students clearly see and understand the requirements for their program. Instead of searching through long documents, graduate students can easily view all the courses, tracks, and specializations available in one place.
The app makes the academic journey easier by showing exactly what is needed to complete a degree, while also providing opportunities to explore different program options, concentrations, and delivery formats. With MyGradPath, graduate students can plan coursework with confidence, track progress toward requirements, and stay on the right path to graduation.
Where does the information come from?
Graduate program requirements and course information in MyGradPath come directly from the official UTRGV Graduate Catalog. This catalog includes all graduate degrees offered by the university, organized by academic year, degree type, program delivery, and program name.
- Each program entry includes details about available concentrations or specializations.
- Programs that are available online or in accelerated online formats are labeled accordingly.
- Because the catalog is the official source, requirements may change, and the university reserves the right to update information at any time.
This ensures that graduate students are always accessing accurate, official, and up-to-date program requirements.
