How to Change the Course Menu Background Color

The following are recommended course menu background colors that meet WCAG 2.0 AAA accessibility compliance.

Instructions

To change your course background color:

  1. Navigate to your Blackboard Course.
  2. Scroll down to the Control Panel, and click Customization.
  3. Click Teaching Style.
  4. Scroll down to Select Menu Style.
  5. Click the Background Color palette.
  6. Enter the HEX (#) Code in the field provided.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click Submit.
