UTRGV sets seventh consecutive first-day enrollment record

  Wednesday, August 26, 2026 — The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley welcomed 36,466 students Wednesday to open the Fall 2026 semester, setting a first-day enrollment record for the seventh consecutive year.

UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine welcomes future podiatrists inspired to serve South Texas

  Tuesday, August 25, 2026 — The UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine recently welcomed its largest, most Texan cohort of future doctors with 98 percent of them calling the state home.
