Request Access to MS Planner

Step 1: Review policy.

Step 2: Create an Access Request for MS Planner.

  1. Log in to
  2. Click the ServiceNow icon under Applications.
  3. Click Get Access! under Need new service?
  4. Select Self or On Behalf of under Options.
    • NOTE: Select On Behalf of, if you're opening a request on behalf of someone else.
  5. From the Category drop-down list, select IT Resources.
  6. Enter "MS Planner" in the Resource field.
  7. Leave the Application Role blank.
  8. Enter the names and emails of the Project Leader and Team Members that need access to MS Planner in the Description field. Specify who will need the role of Project Leader and who will need the role of Team Member.

  1. Click Order Now.

Step 3: Approve the User License Agreement (ULA)

  1. Open email from the UTRGV Service Desk,
  2. Review the Acknowledgements and Compliance Statement — User License Agreement.
  3. Click on the Click here to approve RITM00##### link at the bottom of the email.
  4. Click Send on the new email message window that opens with RE: RITM00#####Approve in the Subject line.
    • NOTE: Ensure that the email is being sent from your email.
