Exchange Visitor Program Application and Fee

If your school or department is interested in hosting a scholar or researcher from a foreign institution you will have to submit an Exchange Visitor Program Application and pay a $105 application processing fee to International Programs and Partnerships through the UTRGV ePay Portal.

The Exchange Visitor Program application fee may be paid by the visiting scholar's home institution, UTRGV's hosting department, or the visiting scholar themselves. The payment may be made in the resources tab located on the left-hand side.

Hosting Professors, please submit all the required documents to the department of International Programs & Partnerships as a hard-copy and also to ipp@utrgv.edu as an electric copy BEFORE 3 Months of EV arrival date. Incomplete applications or failure to submit all documentation at once will inhibit us from issuing a DS-2019 in time and we will not be able to review the Exchange Visitor's Program Application until it is fully complete.

Complete applications will allow our department to process a DS-2019 within 2 months of the EV's program start date.
