Start planning your study abroad experience today. Stop by International Programs and Partnerships to speak with an International Programs Specialist. We are committed to guiding you through each of the steps of the study abroad process.

Keep in mind that there are several options to consider while contemplating Studying Abroad:

1. Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs-

The short term or faculty-led programs are conducted during the Winter-break, Mini-term, Summer I, and Summer II academic periods. IPP specialists assist students with the admission process for short term study abroad programs. These programs are taught by instructors from The University of Texas Rio Grande.

2. Long-Term Study Abroad Programs-

The long-term (individual) programs are opportunities for students to study abroad for one semester or a full academic year. An IPP Specialist helps the student choose a program at a foreign institution that is best suited and beneficial for the student's academic needs.
