ICDIS was established by The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in 2018 with the first two annual conferences (2018 and 2019) hosted in South Padre Island, Texas, USA. Besides having university academicians and personnel from security companies worldwide, the conference hosts student presentations and poster sessions.
