What to Expect
When you get to the Hauser Speech Lab, one of our trained coaches will be ready to help you. You’ll get a one-on-one session to help with:
- Structuring your speech—making sure you have an attention getter, your main points are clear and well-explained, you have good transitions and a powerful close.
- Your presentation skills—how to keep the audience engaged and best present your information, in a way they will remember what you told them along with the best use of visual aids.
- Nervousness and apprehension—you’ll get tools to help you overcome both and make public speaking enjoyable.
You can book a 30 or 60-minute session either in person OR on-line. We are happy to coach you over Zoom. Once you book your appointment, we will send you the Zoom link. Book your session here on the “Sign Up!” page. And if you forget to book an appointment, don’t worry. We take walk-ins too!
No matter what point you are at—from trying to come up with a topic to putting the finishing touches on your speech—and everything in-between, we’ve got you covered. In fact, some people book two appointments--one for coaching, then another one later to practice.
If your speech is being uploaded online, we can record it for you! That way, you can easily post it in time.
