What is "GEOPATHS"

The goal of NSF funded projects FUTURE (Award#2120031): "Families and University Together as a Unit for Research and Education" and SHIP-GEO (Award#1600585): "Stimulating Hispanic Participation in the Geosciences" at UTRGV are to contribute to diversifying and reducing the predicted shortage in the US geoscience workforce (Earth, Environmental, and Marine Sciences) for the coming decade. The projects' goal will be accomplished by implementing activities geared toward student awareness, recruitment and retention, and sustaining the activities beyond the award period.
