Find Funding
Gathering funding can be a tricky process, but the Office of Engaged Scholarship & Learning is here to help! Our office offers two award opportunities for UTRGV’s undergraduate students.
The annual Engaged Scholar and Artist Awards (ESAA) funds original undergraduate research, creative works, and community engagement projects for all disciplines! If you’re interested in building your résumé and gaining real-world experience, learn more about the ESAA.
For students interested in collaborating with ES&L staff to connect classrooms to the community, our office offers the ES&L Ambassador program. The program awards six to eight students each Fall and Spring ranging from $500 - $1,500. Learn more about how to become an Ambassador.
Other Funding Resources
If you are seeking more funds to cover research-related expenses, there are other opportunities on and off-campus for you. Check out one of our online databases for research, creative works, and community engagement projects.
