Staff Senate, in collaboration with university partners, invites UTRGV staff and faculty to attend the following appreciation events, as well as the personal and professional development sessions.

Learn more about available employee resources. Topics will include employee wellness, training and development, and E-learn employee enrichment. Free mousepads for attendees while supplies last!

UTRGV Dining Services will be offering BOGO! HALF OFF in honor of Faculty & Staff Appreciation on Thursday, March 3.
Menu: chipotle chicken tinga taco, cider vinaigrette cole slaw, Cuban black beans, mustard herb crusted pork loin, sauteed zucchini, stewed tomatoes, steamed cilantro, lime rice, whole green beans.

Understanding what you do best is essential to succeeding professionally, but often, we are unclear on our own strengths. Join us for an interactive session to begin a journey of self-discovery, as we share best practices to help identify your strengths, talents, interests, skills, and your greatest abilities.

UTRGV staff and faculty are invited to stop by and pick-up a free breakfast taco. Rally the Valley shirts will be given out during these in-person breakfast events. While supplies last.

In the last two years, we have learned that supply chains get disrupted, and there is a lot of value in being self-sustainable, including growing your own food.
Dr. Alexis Racelis, Associate Professor of Agroecology in the School of Earth, Environmental, and Marine Sciences, will provide attendees with valuable insight regarding raising their own food at home.
At the end of the presentation, each participant will take home a gardening kit.Participants are required to wear comfortable, CLOSED-TOED shoes for the tour at the farm. Click on the photo for a map of how to get to the garden.
This event is being hosted by The Center of Sustainable Agriculture & Rural Advancement. Dr. Alexis Racelis helps direct the Center for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Advancement and leads the UTRGV program in Agroecology and Resilient Food Systems.
