Join us! UTRGV Alumni will be discussing their career path, where they have been and how they got there. Priscila de Azevedo Drummond is a Ph.D. student at Northeastern University in the Industrial Engineering Program. She is currently working at the Operations Research and Social Justice Lab led by Dr. Maass. Her research focuses on identifying how migration policies affect human trafficking activities at the US border. Jorge Cisneros completed his Ph.D. at the University of Washington in Applied Mathematics. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Abraham Alvarez Reyna is a Ph.D. student at Auburn University of Alabama in the Civil Engineering Program. He is currently focusing on critical rain that triggers landslides. Thalía Juarez graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science during the summer of 2021 and is now a software developer at HTRI in Navasota, Texas. He has worked in multiple areas from data processing to data analytics as a team member, project lead, and organizational leader. Dr. William Christian Dr. Christian earned his Ph.D. from Rice University and BS from University of Maryland Baltimore County. His research focus is optimization and machine learning on data modeled as graphs, especially networks, for analysis and defense. He is a Research Mathematician at the National Security Agency and has been since 2004. How to Seek a Summer Internship

Kassandra Parra who interned with Space X for 12 Weeks throughout the summer and is currently working a part-time internship with them in Boca Chica, Omar Guajardo who interned with Facebook through their FBU for Engineers program and secured a Software Engineer Internship for the Summer of 2021 and Andres Gutierrez who graduated from UTRGV with Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and is now working full time for LinkedIn as a Software Engineer.
