Society of Physics Students
The Society of Physics students promotes Physics and advocates ethics and professionalism among all members of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) at UTRGV. The Society of Physics Students provides a formal and informal learning community for students who share a love for physics. SPS informs and educates the public about physics. We also serve our community of the Rio Grande Valley by attending STEM events and/or by volunteering.
Membership in UTRGV SPS is open to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students enrolled in The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley who have an interest in Physics. All students who enroll in Physics courses are eligible to become members of UTRGV SPS and participate in organization meetings, seminars, and program activities.
