Congratulations Vaquero Class of 2020!

Class of 2020, we look forward to celebrating you in-person on
Thursday, May 13th; Friday, May 14th; and Saturday, May 15th!

We invite you to celebrate by using resources in this virtual toolkit!

  1. UTRGV social media filters: Go ahead. Show off your accomplishment and hard work - we approve!
  2. Selfie Poster:  Show your UTRGV pride by snapping a selfie. These posters will get that point across! The download includes print at home sizes (8.5x 11 and 11x17)

    Here’s how to use them: 
    • Take out your selfie poster and get in your favorite selfie position 
    • Snap a pic with your poster using a smartphone - or record a video and flip the poster around for a boomerang!  
    • Show your V’s up sign. 
    • Post it and let the world know. 
    • Use #UTRGVGrad!

  5. Zoom background: Get on celebration mode during that video chat!

    Instructions on how to set up virtual backgrounds on Zoom:  

    • Open Zoom 
    • In a Zoom meeting click the ^ arrow located next to the start/stop video button 
    • Click Choose a virtual background 
    • Click the + button to add image 
    • Select the file you want - you’re all set! 
  6. LIVE Social Feed: Make sure to use #UTRGVGrad on social and find your message on UTRGV’s LIVE Social Feed during the event. We’ll broadcast tagged messages for all attendees to view!
