Spring 2022 Commencement
Congratulations, Spring Class of 2022!
We are pleased to announce UTRGV’s in-person commencement ceremony dates and times for our Spring 2022 graduates.
The Spring 2022 Commencement ceremonies will be held during the following dates, locations, and times listed below.
Tickets
- Brownsville: No tickets required. Due to the lawn location, seating capacity, and ceremony schedule, tickets will not be distributed. Instead, guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Edinburg: 10 tickets allotted per student. Due to the indoor location, seating capacity, and ceremony schedule, you will be limited to 10 guest tickets. Guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

In order to support a safe and enjoyable environment, candidates and guests are encouraged to review and adhere to the list of approved and non-approved bags and prohibited items. Prohibited items will be confiscated, and patrons may be refused entry if in violation of the guidance.

Virtual Grad Toolkit
The Spring 2022 Virtual Grad Toolkit contains social media filters, selfie posters, phone wallpapers, proud family signage, Zoom backgrounds, and more.
Grad Slides
The Grad Slides will be available for viewing on Friday, May 13, starting at 8:00 A.M. You will be able to download or share the slide via Facebook or Twitter. Graduates can search for their slide by degree, major, or by name. The recommended web browsers for viewing are Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not recommended.
