Developing and Constructing Survey Scales/Measures/Instruments Using SPSS to Derive Psychometric Properties of Reliability and Validity

After attending these conversations, participants will be able to develop an initial item pool, develop item stems, develop item response formats, address item distributions, address item discrimination index, address reliability through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, use exploratory factor analysis to derive construct validity, use SPSS, and identify ways to use underlying dimensions of an instrument as predictor variables in multiple linear regression analysis.
