Pearson Overview & Exam Framework

The TExES Science of Teaching Reading (293) exam is designed to assess whether an examinee has the requisite knowledge and skills of reading pedagogy, foundational skills of reading development, comprehension of concepts and vocabulary, and the analysis of assessment data related to reading development in the form of a short-answer response.
