On November 8, 2016, Zoroayka V. Sandoval successfully defended her doctoral dissertation for a Doctorate in Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology. Her dissertation is titled, The Development of an E-Learning Usability Scale for Higher Education. In October, she was won the Jay Leibowitz Outstanding Student Research Award for an article she published from her dissertation topic.
