Course Details

The GMAT measures high order reasoning, a skill that can only be developed with time and practice. For those interested in enrolling in graduate management programs such as an MBA, fully preparing for the GMAT exam is of the utmost importance.

UTRGV Continuing Education provides an intensive 6-week program designed to help students prepare and improve their performance on the GMAT.


Anyone who is interested in applying to the MBA Program and needs to clear the GMAT exam.

Mr. Daniel Ramirez (Math)

Daniel Ramirez is results-focused marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience in the higher education industry. He studied mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas-Pan American. He has been employed by South Texas College since 2002 where he has served various positions including as a web designer, webmaster, and Assistant Director of Web and Creative Services before becoming Director of Public Relations and Marketing in 2012. His interests include marketing research, digital marketing, brand development, and data-driven marketing.

Mr. Dennis Garza (Verbal)

Dennis Garza earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in English Literature with emphasis is Mexican-American Studies from the University of Texas-Pan American. Since 2011, he has served as a lecturer at both UTPA and UTRGV in the Department of English, teaching courses in rhetoric, composition, technical writing, diversity in communication, and has led professional writing workshops in both university and community settings. He has served as a presenter at several national conferences, showcasing his work on Chicano activism and the struggles of children in poor communities.
