Description:

This course introduces participants to the use of Adobe Lightroom CC in editing professional-grade photographs. Users will learn to use basic tools in Lightroom and apply them to their own images and projects.

Participants will take photographic elements and learn how to adjust white balance, tonal range, exposure, brightness, saturation and experiment with edits using adjustment layers and masks. The goal is to further your understanding of how to edit digital photographs.

Session Details:


• Working with Adobe Lightroom CC to improve photo quality
• Experimenting with edits using adjustment layers and masks
• Adjusting white balance for color integrity
• Using tonal range for dynamic effects in photo colors

Graphic Artists, Photographers and any other person interested in learning Adobe Lightroom.


Note: PEWD program participants should be 18 years or older.


• Basic Microsoft Windows computer proficiency.
• A device with Adobe Lightroom will be provided.

Mr. Carlos Bortoni

Carlos Bortoni is a Marketer and Commercial Photographer who has created images since 2005. His work has been featured on the week 5 Portrait Gallery at National Geographic´s Virtual Gallery, Revista Troleo (Fishing Magazine), 2011 2nd Edition of the People & Portraits Book by The Gala Awards, 2012 Street Photography by The Gala Awards, WPGA London (2 Honorable Mentions), and Living Magazine. He has also received 1st place at a photography contest held by Revista Troleo, sponsored by Costa Sunglasses, and 3rd place at a photoshop contest held by Focal Press.
