  • Mr. Alex Garrido (Module 1 & Module 2)

    Alex Garrido is a passionate learner who enjoys finding creative solutions for small businesses. With a degree in Psychology from The University of Texas-Pan American, he has always been interested in human behavior and motivation. He holds a certification in website applications development from the University of Houston and is Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and Google Video Advertising Certified. He is currently pursuing his MS in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University. Mr. Garrido has previously taught digital marketing, social media and web design related courses for the Office of Continuing Education.

    His passion towards new technologies is what led him to co-found Red Ant Digital Marketing, an online marketing firm with over 90 clients across the U.S. He has been serving as the Graduate Student Recruiter for UTPA Graduate School since 2013 where he helps them expand their online and international outreach. He also holds an appointment with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Mr. Daniel Ramirez (Module 3)

    Daniel Ramirez is a results-focused marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience in the higher education industry. He studied mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas-Pan American. He has been employed by South Texas College since 2002 where he has served various positions including as a web designer, webmaster, and Assistant Director of Web and Creative Services before becoming Director of Public Relations and Marketing in 2012. His interests include marketing research, digital marketing, brand development, and data-driven marketing.
