The Vanguard GEAR UP Biology Camp is a day camp for eligible students. This camp will focus on Biology objectives by learning about lab procedures and dissecting different specimens in a lab setting. Participants will be selected based on criteria set by Vanguard GEAR UP.(Students for this camp will be selected by school/district. Registration is not open to the general public.)

Upward Bound Math and Science Programs (UBMS) are designed to provide services to eligible secondary school students. The program will enable students to gain the academic skills and motivation necessary for success in education beyond high school in the areas of math, science, and engineering. The UTRGV UBMS Programs are designed to provide: academic support and college preparation, hands-on experiences in STEM, college and admission information, guidance on college financing, cultural enrichment, and leadership development opportunities. (Students for this camp must be part of the grant program and will be selected by staff based on requirements; registration is not open to the general public.)

The Sharyland ISD STEM Camp is a three-week enrichment program for eligible students. This camp will focus on STEM objectives and college readiness. Academic and personal growth will be addressed by focusing on academic enrichment, college readiness, science, technology, engineering, math promotion, and social development. The Sharyland district sets criteria and registration guidelines for participants (Students for this camp will be selected by school/district. Registration is not open to the general public.) 

Migrant University Summer Experience

In collaboration with participating districts, high school students will attend a five-week residential summer camp. Students will participate in either a high school or dual enrollment track to earn credits that their migrant high school counselor recommends. In addition, students will learn about college and career opportunities through college readiness sessions, TSI and ACT preparation classes, and job shadowing. Districts select participants via their set criteria.(Students for this camp will be selected by school/district. Registration is not open to the general public.)
