LEARN BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

The School of Earth, Environmental, and Marine Sciences (SEEMS) consists of a diverse faculty with a wide range of expertise in the Earth, environmental, and marine sciences. Students pursuing degrees within SEEMS enjoy learning and research opportunities within and beyond the classroom. All degree programs directly engage students in the discovery process and take full advantage of the unique and exciting human-natural systems of the Lower Rio Grande Valley at the intersection of tropical climatic divides and South Texas' coastal, estuarine, and marine ecosystems.
