Stigmas & Stereotypes in Gender-Based Violence

The UTRGV Office for Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention presents
“Stigmas & Stereotypes in Gender-Based Violence,” the first CAVE (Coalition Against Violence and Exploitation) Conference,
held on the Brownsville Campus in the PlainsCapital El Gran Salón, Monday, Oct. 17 through Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The three-day, all-day (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) schedule consists of panel discussions, training opportunities and information
regarding gender violence, sexual assault, and dating/domestic violence intervention and prevention.

CEU/TCOLE/CLE credit forms are available.

This training conference is free and open to the public.
