  • Do you need to make an appointment?

No, you do not need to make an appointment to use our services. We accept walk-ins at our tutoring labs in Math, Science, Social Sciences, and Foreign Languages. If you have an SI (Supplemental Instruction) Leader assigned to your course, you should have been notified on the first day of class when the leader introduces themselves. If there are questions on who your leader is, ask your professor or you may call our office at (956) 882-8208. You should also have been assigned to a PLTL (Peer Led Team Learning) study session if you are enrolled in Chemistry 1311/1312 or enrolled in College Algebra. You should have received notice of when and where you PLTL session will be held via email before your first day of class.

  • What should I take with me to a session?

We recommended that you bring as many study material as you can. You may bring your text book, power point slides, practice problems, or simple write down some questions that you may want to ask you tutor or leader. This will help you be prepared and help your tutor or leader assist you the best way possible.
