02/09/2022 -  TRESS is recruiting for USDA-NRCS Summer Internships!

11/29/2021 - TRESS Alumna, Fallon Garza, reports her experience working at USDA/NRCS. Garza was sponsored by TRESS to intern at the NRCS' Edinburg TX office in 2019. Now she is a full time staff at USDA/NRCS: Check out Garza's testimonial.  

11/01/2021 - Congratulations to TRESS Undergraduate Researcher, Samantha Colunga, for winning the best oral presentation award at the UTRGV College of Science Annual Research Conference. Her presentation title was: "Carbon Sequestration in Sandy Soils of Arid and Semi-Arid Climates"

09/01/2021  - Congratulations to Isaiah Jaramillo (TRESS Alum) for starting a position as a Soil Conservationist for the USDA NRCS in Fredericksburg, TX. Isaiah was also recently featured in the UTRGV's Profile in  Excellence, Check it out  here.

08/01/2021 - Congratulations to TRESS Undergraduate Researcher, Angel Salinas, for receiving the National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees (NOPHNRCSE) Scholarship. We are very proud of you!
