This partnership is a participatory academic program that fills research needs of farmers in south Texas. it is funded by the USDA-NIFA-Organic Research Transitions program.

COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH

The United States Department of Agriculture has been a substantial ally to the Agroecology program offering many research opportunities and providing great mentorship to our student participants. Some of the research project topics include Arundo donax, Asian Citrus psyllid, Brevipalpus mites, and the Cattle Fever Tick.
