Profile: Isabelle Hughes, MEd

Biography

Ms. Isabelle Hughes, a Mission, Texas native, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where she balanced her studies with a role in the College of Arts & Sciences. Driven by her passion for education, she returned to the Rio Grande Valley to attend and obtain a master’s in education with a concentration in Special Education at the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley. Currently, Ms. Hughes is the Administrative Associate to the Senior Associate Dean for Educational Affairs at the UTRGV School of Medicine, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting academic excellence. Her commitment to fostering inclusive education and advancing medical education has been the basis of her career.
