Fatimah Bello, MD, MPH, FACP

Biography

Fatimah Bello, MD, MPH, FACP, is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the UTRGV School of Medicine, educating and training the next generations of leaders in medicine, research, and patient care. 

Dr. Bello received her medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2009. She interned at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in 2010 and earned her Master of Public Health Degree from Harvard University in 2013. In 2020, Dr. Bello completed her residency training at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Dr. Bello is a member of several notable organizations, such as the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, and the Nigerian Medical Association.

In addition to her teaching, Dr. Bello is a board-certified Internal Medicine Doctor at UT Health RGV. She is dedicated to providing communities in the Rio Grande Valley with the highest level of care.
