Eunkyung Park

Biography

Dr. Eunkyung Park is an Anatomy Lab Service Supervisor at the School of Medicine, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Edinburg. She received her BA, MA, and Ph. D at Ewha Woman’s University in Korea. She majored in Exercise Physiology (MA) and Sports Medicine (Ph.D.) in the rehabilitation of stroke patients at Asan Medical Center. She worked as a Clinical Exercise Specialist for 17 years at Asan Medical Center teaching rehabilitative exercises to patients suffering from stroke and cardiac problems, diabetic mellitus, obesity, and other illnesses. She did a Post-Doctoral fellowship in cardiac disease using mice experiments in Health and Human Performance at the University of Houston. Currently, she is focusing on public health promotion at the UTRGV Graduation program. Also, she is supporting the anatomy labs at UTRGV SOM.
