Dr. Carlos Fernando Mondragón received his medical degree from Universidad Americana (UAM) in Nicaragua and completed his family medicine residency at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2025. He is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at UT Health RGV and serves as an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at UTRGV School of Medicine.
As a Family Medicine physician, Dr. Mondragón provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a special interest in women’s health. He enjoys caring for patients throughout all stages of life, focusing on preventive care and the management of chronic conditions. Dr. Mondragon is passionate about advocacy and education, striving to create a welcoming environment where patients feel supported, informed, and empowered to make decisions about their health and well-being.
