Undergraduate Continuing Scholarships

UTRGV is committed to providing scholarships and funding to outstanding undergraduate students. Review the information below for the different scholarship opportunities available to you.

UTRGV Scholarship Applications

UTRGV Endowed and Departmental Scholarships are usually one-time scholarships which require students to submit a scholarship application online or to the corresponding department that is offering the scholarship.

Outside Scholarships

UTRGV is committed to providing as many scholarship opportunities as possible for students. As organizations send us information pertaining to their scholarship opportunities, we make them available for your review and to take advantage of those opportunities.

Student Emergency Fund

Provide limited, last resort, financial assistance to currently enrolled students who are experiencing a sudden emergency, accident, or an unforeseen event.

UTRGV Employee Tuition Assistance Program

Current UTRGV full-time employees can take advantage of this program to assist with tuition assistance for up to nine credit hours per academic fiscal year.

Scholarship Policy

NOTICE: It is a federal financial aid policy not to award students in excess of their need or overall cost of attendance (COA). Students who have received aid (including institutional, state, federal and private sources) in excess of their need or COA will have any UTRGV institutional scholarship(s) reduced or cancelled. In addition, the Scholarship and Enrollment Communications Office may substitute a scholarship if a more favorable funding source is identified.
