PeopleSoft 9.2 Implementation

MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSOR

As announced on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, PeopleSoft is now live and operational with all modules for Financial Management Solutions (FMS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) !   Please see our Go-Live announcement for a list of all the new features and functionality.

This is a major milestone for UTRGV and we want to thank all project team members who have worked so hard to achieve this amazing milestone, as well as all subject matter experts and support personnel for their valuable contributions. We also want to thank all Time Keepers/Leave Administrators and Super Users for accepting their respective roles in an effort to make our University's processes more efficient and, by doing so, delivering higher levels of customer service to our end users. Congratulations and thank you to all!

We continue to work on ways to make the transition to PeopleSoft as easy for our end users as possible. To help achieve this goal, we communicated on September 20, 2018, the creation of the PeopleSoft Payroll Support Team for the purpose of answering any questions or concerns regarding September 21 and October 1 pay checks. They may be contacted at 956-665-4242 or by email at payroll@utrgv.edu . More information may be found in the HCM section of our PeopleSoft Frequently Asked Questions page.

We also continue to work diligently on outstanding issues that are affecting certain populations of users. As progress is made or more information is obtained, we will be sure to communicate them. In the meantime, please continue to use the Support Process, which is outlined in its own section below.

As always, if you have any general questions about the PeopleSoft program, please reach out to us through our Contact Us form on our website (located here ) or by sending an email to peoplesoft@utrgv.edu .

Thank you!

Rick Anderson
Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration

PEOPLESOFT SUPPORT PROCESS

How do users obtain PeopleSoft support? Here is a summary of the steps users should follow. More information can also be found on the PeopleSoft Support site:

1.      Review Training Materials – If you have questions, the extensive library of training materials contains a wealth of information that may have the answer to what you are looking for. The materials may be found in our PeopleSoft Training and Resources Site .

2.      Contact your Super User - If training materials did not provide the solution you were looking for, remember that Super Users have received advanced PeopleSoft training. Here is the Super User Directory so you may contact one in your department or office.

3.      Contact your Timekeeper/Leave Administrator - For questions related to submission and correction of timecard and absence requests, a designated Time Keeper/Leave Administrator has been assigned.  The Timekeeper/Leave Administrator Directory will be available soon in the PeopleSoft Support & Escalation site .

4.      Request Access If you believe you don't have the correct PeopleSoft access, please follow the Access Request Process . If unsure, consult with your Super User.

5.      Contact the IT Service Desk – If you are experiencing technical issues, such as not able to log into PeopleSoft, please follow the IT Incident Process , or contact the IT Service Desk at 956-882-2020 or 956-665-2020.

If the above steps do not address your question or issue, please work with your Super User to escalate it to the appropriate expert at UTRGV. If required, a Service Incident or Request will be created and assigned to the appropriate PeopleSoft Business Analyst. You may also find these steps in our PeopleSoft Support & Escalation site .
