Our intent is to make communications about the PeopleSoft Program a two-way street. So we want to hear from you about any questions, suggestions or concern, whether they are general or specific to you, your department or office. This includes suggestions on what other information you would like to see on our website, especially in the FAQs. No question or suggestion about PeopleSoft is off limits!

As highlighted in the October issue of our newsletter (located here), the PeopleSoft Implementation Program continues moving forward. Our teams have been working diligently to bring the Analyze and Design phase for both the Financial Management/Human Capital and Campus Solutions projects to completion.

While some final design activities remain, we have actually already begun the next phase of the program: Build and Test. In this next phase, our teams will be working on the configuration and development effort that is required to meet our needs For more details on the program phases and timeline, please see the Program Timeline section below.

Once again, thank you for reading our newsletter!

Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration

TRAINING AND TRANSITION

Every major implementation requires training end users on the new system's functionality to ensure a seamless and successful transition to the new system. We are currently creating a training plan for end users on PeopleSoft 9.2 FMS, HCM, and CS systems. Training is scheduled for Summer 2018.

The Office of Human Resources (HR) has begun providing training sessions on Organizational Change Transforming and Leading in preparation for the transition to PeopleSoft. These sessions will explore the dynamics of organizational change, highlight proactive techniques to prepare for change, identify key resources to facilitate the change process, and reveal strategies for optimal effectiveness. Registration will be available through the UTRGV Training Services portal at www.utrgv.edu/training.
